As part of a project for the European Investment Fund (EIF), we had to create a new concept for a "Content Hub", a web-based signpost to the portfolio that quickly introduces the visitor to the EIF and its benefits, with reference to case studies. Furthermore, this website would guide the user to conversion to attract investment for their product. The EIF has long been making efforts to make its services more accessible to SMEs across the European Union, and this was to be one of the tools to achieve this.
The biggest obstacles in this regard were on 2 levels. The 1st level was solved by our long term partner and customer KNKTR who decided to go into the tender with us, which was compiling all the analysis into a formal form. The 2nd level was researching the EIF portfolio and many of its tools so that based on the knowledge we gained we could build a website that would remove this barrier and direct interested parties straight to the resources and forms to apply for investment and support.
We created a website concept that clearly divided the EIF's areas of activity into 4 categories. Within each category, case studies and summaries of overall support were then presented to give the visitor confidence and at least partial agreement with their case that the EIF would help them. The conversion point eventually became a multi-step interactive form where the visitor fills in information about his/her case, his/her expectations and at the end an estimate of the possible amount of support and the sources to obtain such support.
Although our joint proposal in collaboration with KNKTR did not make it through the next rounds of the tender, the effort gave birth to a unique playful concept and helped us mainly to broaden our horizons about the EIF's work, and perhaps better direct some of our actions or those of our clients to get funding for their ideas. It was certainly not the last opportunity in this direction, and we will regularly participate in further challenges to push and expand our capabilities and portfolio.
There has been enough scrolling, now it is time to get in touch and make sure we are the right fit for your project!
