SKOBA workshop and shop approached us to develop a new e-commerce site that would have the right tools and presentation format for their unique product creation. Almost every diary from this workshop is an original and these thousands of products cannot be hidden under items with variations, as is customary. The previous solution was not ready for such a large scale structure and we took on the challenge.

The workshop used their talented designers to create the creative, playful and workshop-spirited look they presented to us. And because the solution was to further honor the build on the Czech Shoptet platform, we knew full well that we were going to be entering a fierce battle where we were strictly limited in our processing capabilities and had to develop an alternative interface for a lot of the data through which content was being loaded onto the eshop.

The site relies on unconventional graphic elements; one of the central ones is the so-called "swarm", a grouping of products in a bar that serves as an instant showcase of everything the workshop has to offer, without the customer having to browse through huge quantities of unique diaries. The swarm literally gives space for product selection through feelings and mood, without the fuss of descriptive text. It is responsive, dynamically loaded and retains the ability to click through to the product detail. But our trophy hunt didn't end there, we still had a lot of optimization to do on the closed platform, creating a robot to import thousands of 360° photos and developing a configurator for the possibilities of creating your own, original diary.

Thanks to our cooperation with SKOBA, we can boast a timeless eshop that deservedly belongs in our shop window. For visitors, the current e-shop is a completely new user experience. In addition to the novel artistic design among the eshops, it also brings many new functionalities that improve the product selection process and the overall shopping experience.
