EFFIT

Blue Partners are IT pros that we have been working with for a long time. One of their most ambitious projects is the EFFIT app, which is designed to make systems, processes, contracts and potential risks in a corporate environment that often doesn't exist in a fully digital environment more transparent. The IT departments of such companies often don't even have the tools and capacity to provide a suitable environment, and EFFIT has been a helping hand to this.

But a large-scale system requires many forces across development roles. One of the key positions for control, orientation and impression is that of the designer, which is to take care of ease of use and intuitiveness that does not become just another obstacle. And this is where our challenge arose.

Large-scale systems need to be approached with extra caution at the outset when designing, as they are more analysis-based than anything else in our field. Poorly thought out structure, how blocks are composed, and UX and UI fundamentals must be carefully considered because any significant rollbacks often need to be reflected across the application and this takes "uncreative, painful" time.

For EFFIT, we just had to design block layouts, interfaces, colors, fonts, or bump up various more complex compositions and find appropriate presentation methods. There's honestly never enough experience with systems, there's always more to learn, and this was a great opportunity to put our skills to a true test.

After much effort, dozens of unique pages have been created with visualizations of various guides, overviews, details and more. After careful consideration, green slightly to turquoise and red were chosen as the main colours. For the font, the proven Roboto font was used, excellent for its legibility and simplicity leading to fast reading. As the development took place in several waves, the design was also batched gradually. Thanks to ever improving design tools, we were able to deliver a more cohesive and interactive prototype where everything could be easily and quickly tweaked as required.

EFFIT is constantly evolving, with more modules, feature enhancements and detailed user documentation and elearning support being added so that employees can be trained through EFFIT. Whenever there is a need, we are happy to help our client. We've put a lot of effort into the app and it's great to see the product coming more and more to life and adding new features. We are very happy for this opportunity, it is a source of great experience and references.
