One Stop Shop Ústecký kraj

The Ustecky Region in cooperation with the Regional Chamber of Commerce, CzechInvest and the Regional Innovation Centre needed to implement a new modern business platform. They were well aware that everyone offers a certain portfolio of services for the development of start-ups and established businesses, but it can be difficult to navigate where to go with a particular request.

The platform is thus intended to provide a cleverly designed signpost to dozens of services across the business spectrum, where visitors can find basic information and where to go.

Each partner organisation should have administrative access with its users to easily manage its portfolio of advertised services and respond to those who have expressed an interest in the service. It was the creation of the entire administration that respects the hierarchy of administrators, managing them, assigning solvers to messages from users that was the biggest challenge of the whole project.

From a public point of view, it was again necessary to think well about how the visitor would be guided in terms of browsing the service, so that in the end the main goal, the signpost, would not become a nuisance.

Along with the design, the visual part of the brand had to be put together. We agreed that the ideal "enterprising" colour would be a rich blue with its range of shades complemented by simple flat graphics. To make the portal look a little less formal, more relaxed and friendly, a rounded, patchless font called Dosis was chosen.

The portal was first designed in a basic wireframe form, so that we could work with the client to correctly place the required functionality on all pages. Everything was gradually fine-tuned into a sophisticated interactive design prototype on which the platform could evolve.

Thanks to flexible communication and our proven working processes in similar projects, we were able to give birth to this unique platform that helps many entrepreneurs with their goals. Everything is designed to be administrable, in a modern design and running on the latest technology. We covered all the requirements with the client and even suggested some simplifying solutions during the development process to improve the usage and navigation, especially from an administration perspective.
